What we’re looking forward to at Inbound ’17
It’s that time of year again! Inbound marketers and salesfolk from around the globe are preparing to gather in Boston to spend four inspiring days nattering about the future of sales and marketing. And HubSpot have really outdone themselves this year. I mean, even John Cena and Michelle Obama are going. See, I told you!
Here’s what went down last year…
I’m sorry if that gave you a serious case of FOMO! But don’t worry, our CRO Paul and Design Man Col will be across the pond from the 25th to the 28th of September to see what’s new in the world of inbound, and they’ll be documenting it at every step.
Here are some of the things they’re excited for:
That’s right, Chubspot — a term affectionately coined after all the amazing food there. Seriously, the complimantary nibbles are top-notch. And the food trucks! Oh, the food trucks… Last year, we definitely overindulged a tad. No regrets, though. 10/10 would pig out again.
2. Star-studded keynotes
The folks at HubSpot are brilliant at grabbing the best people for their keynotes. Year after year, celebrities, authors, and public figures come to share their experiences. In the past, we’ve seen the likes of Anna Kendrick, Aziz Ansari, Seth Godin, and Martha Stewart on the keynote stage! This year, they’ve got Brené Brown, Michelle Obama, Piera Gelardi, Issa Rae, John Cena, and of course HubSpot’s very own founders, Brian Halligan and Darmesh Shah.
Which is the polite way of saying ‘drinking lots of complimentary beer with like-minded individuals until we realise it’s 3am, we’re not back at the Airbnb yet, and sessions start in 5 hours.’ With great music, amazing atmosphere and even better brews, Inbound consistently provides the ultimate networking shindigs.
4. Getting inspired
There are over 300 educational breakout sessions from some of the biggest names and brightest minds in sales and marketing. The wealth of information and shared experience from inbound marketers around the world is something we’ll never take for granted. Last year, we filled our notebooks to the brim and brought them home to the rest of the team, which helped inspire us to get creative with our own business.
